  • The Lifetime Free Tune-Up Policy is a feature of most new bikes purchased here at Walt’s! If you have specific questions regarding what this policy covers or whether your bike is covered, you can view information covered here or call and speak with one of our mechanics at 573-886-9258.

  • Yes! While there are some exceptions regarding e-bikes and other specialty products (see below), we can service the mechanical components on most bicycles.

  • While there are certain times of year (December, January, or February), where you may not need an appointment to bring your bike in, we generally recommend calling and scheduling an appointment to ensure you get your bike back as quickly as possible.

Once we have an appointment made, you are welcome to drop your bike(s) off any day that is convenient for you up until the morning of your appointment.

We try our best to account for any specific scheduling requests, such as having to travel in from out-of-town for service or needing your bike as your primary form of transportation, so be sure to mention that during the appointment process.

  • Our ability to service your e-bike is going to depend on a few key factors:

    1. If you purchased your e-bike from us, we will be able to service and support all aspects of your bike’s maintenance, from simple mechanical repairs to battery and motor fixes.

    2. If you had not purchased your e-bike from us but is a Bosch, Hyena, TQ, Shimano STEPS, or Fazua motor brand, we are authorized to do all mechanical and e-system repairs on your bicycle.

    3. ‍ ‍If your bike was not purchased from us and is not one of the motor systems listed above (ex. Lectric, Rad Power, Aventon, and others), we are able to service the mechanical components on your bicycle, but we do not provide any support for motors or batteries. We ask that you remove the battery on these bikes before bringing them in.

    4. ‍ ‍If your bike does not have a seat post, has a non-removable battery, does not have pedals, or has a motor system greater than 750 watts, we will not service your bicycle.

**We reserve the right to turn any bike away if we believe we will be unable to work on it safely and/or effectively
